Term 2 bitches

Welcome back to term 2 bitches *snaps finger in z formation*

Since the start of the year, i've basically been

-trying to keep up with the overwhelming amount of workload (meh)
-trying to balance having a life
-failing chinese and emath miserably (this is me wincing in pain)
-missing what little life i ever had before.

and with the end of the terrible term that was not at all in my favour, i'm sort of glad to be back at school and about to start the new term afresh

ha ha ha. okay let me cut the sarcasm.

i must have been really so bored to decide to return to blogging after slightly over a year. well... a blog is a way to share my boredom lol.

well before i come off as very whiney and pessimistic...(not that i care)... sob i just want something fun and exciting to look forward too haha.

i used to hit town ever so often and sort of considered myself pretty much a WOAHHHH UPTOWN GIRL.

haha no.

well i mean i don't find it entirely boring to walk around alone in town. Piled on a tourist-y look and accent, i set off on my merry way (alone) and peeled through (alone) and was very much delighted by whatever i had seen.

But at the end of this year, i really want to go some place fantastic.

I believe its not only me who's in perpetual hysteria to see hundreds of people rush out of thier homes in  the manner ants do when their ant hole (or whatever) is broken/stomped upon (laugh at myself at the rubbish analogy but its very apt!) to get to their jobs.

everywhere's busy with some sort of action, students flock to school ( i try my best to fabricate some sort of pretext that could let me skip school but my attempt is very much futile though )

As such, this city is known as a place of ceaseless activity.

only after 3/4s of the day, towards the evening, then do things start taking on a very much needed slower pace. The air becomes cooler and life becomes more leisurely.

BUT LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? to even think of doing anything other than camping at one's study table will probably cause an uproar.

and here's my fav poem that always cheers me up whenever i want to break out of this oh so mundane routine. :DDDD

Slow Dance - by David Weatherfold

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round, or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight, or gazed at the sun fading into the night?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.

Do you run through each day on the fly, when you ask "How are you?", do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed, with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.

Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow, and in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a friendship die, 'cause you never had time to call and say hi?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day, it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life isn't a race, so take it slower, hear the music before your song is over.

hmm.. the first time i read this poem, at my tender age of 10, i was left feeling a sort of unutterable happiness...

oh uhm, could any kind soul get me some chocolates? hehe
