boys will b boyzzzz
kkkkk i shant rant today. but instead, share something eventful today haha - so something hilarious happened today.
yeppppp. boys will b boyzzzzz
So like, after the tiring gruelling cumbersome stupid process of e learning- which i hate so much- i decided to treat myself to something sweet for putting up with such a chore for like half the day.
So i went to buy my favourite chocolate waffle (yummm)
the lady manning the shop was from China (from her accent), and was serving a bunch of upper sec boys, all of whom were trying to flirt with her. So the first emboldened dude, wah this one ah. he actually wolf whistled her and said mei nu, ni hen piao liang.
SIALAAAAA. LOL I WANTED TO ROAR WITH LAUGHTER HAHA. the lady wasnt even half impressed, man. she just served up his waffle and was ready for the next customer.
BUT THE DUDE WAS RELENTLESS MANNNN. HE KEPT SAYING MEI NU MEI NU MEI NU.
lmfao.
the next dude tried to freaking ninja over the boarder like into the shop. but his foot got stuck in something AND HE FREAKING FLOPPED ONTO HIS FACE AT THE LADY'S FEET. HAHAHAHA I SWEAR I COULDNT TAKE IT. not to mention, his specs flew quite a fair bit. hahahhahahaha poor loser. failed so miserably.
and the dude, i applaud him for this, got his ass up, dusted his shirt and all and gave the lady a wink
;)
not bad not bad. hahahahhaha. oh if only i had the balls to roll on the floor and laugh at them so badly. but nahhhh, im not that crude xD
or am i :P
MOVING ON
back to school tomorrow. last day of the first week for term 1 since friday's a public hol- GOOD FRIDAY :D
awwwww
HAHAHAHAH I CANT HELP MYSELF :P

aaaaaand another post
ACADEMIC CASTES THAT DOG US FOR LIFE - a continual because im so darn bored!
if living in Singapore is like paradise,
studying in a school in Singapore is like paradise within paradise *halo flies above my head*
i used to have that mindset, despite wanting to skip school again and again. However my mindset has now been questioned...
my narrowminded pea brain has once again been enlightened by how severely bigoted some idiots are ( ha ha ha its like pot calling the kettle black).
Does it mean that if you're from a less popular stream - yeah face it we know it - such as NA or NT, or studying in a not so popular jc/poly/ite that you're forever destined to be the dregs of society?
NO. so all those who look down upon students from non elite can stop sitting on their high horses, piling on a holier-than-thou tone, because its seriously real uncouth.
Its very obvious that the public libraries are occupied by many students from all schools- be it elite schools or not- burying their faces in piles of books and homework in order to attain as much knowledge as possible, and i respect them enough to try to emulate them.
so why judge those who didn't 'succeed' in getting a spot in some elite school?
personallyyyyy....
i've been blessed to have so far met some brilliant people who don't purposely dumb down shit for me because they think i am unable to fathom. Instead, if need it be, they teach me things and its mutually beneficial :DDDD <3 <3 <3
yet, i've run into complete retards who've dissed NA kids for being whats that? ''lesser mortals''.
i believe almost every student in Singapore is acutely aware that he/she has to be deeply engaged in studies and therefore has adopted a very studious attitude - LIKE JUST THE OTHER DAY I HEARD A PRIMARY 3 KID CRY TO HER MOM ON HOW SHE LOST 5 MARKS IN HER MATH PRE-TEST. KID Y U B SO MELODRAMATIC?!?
so stop being such an empty vessel who makes so much noise.
perhaps we might have screwed up in psle/Os/wherever
BUT IT AINT OVER TILL THE FAT LADY SINGS

Term 2 bitches
Welcome back to term 2 bitches *snaps finger in z formation*
Since the start of the year, i've basically been
-trying to keep up with the overwhelming amount of workload (meh)
-trying to balance having a life
-failing chinese and emath miserably (this is me wincing in pain)
-missing what little life i ever had before.
and with the end of the terrible term that was not at all in my favour, i'm sort of glad to be back at school and about to start the new term afresh
ha ha ha. okay let me cut the sarcasm.
i must have been really so bored to decide to return to blogging after slightly over a year. well... a blog is a way to share my boredom lol.
well before i come off as very whiney and pessimistic...(not that i care)... sob i just want something fun and exciting to look forward too haha.
i used to hit town ever so often and sort of considered myself pretty much a WOAHHHH UPTOWN GIRL.
haha no.
well i mean i don't find it entirely boring to walk around alone in town. Piled on a tourist-y look and accent, i set off on my merry way (alone) and peeled through (alone) and was very much delighted by whatever i had seen.
But at the end of this year, i really want to go some place fantastic.
I believe its not only me who's in perpetual hysteria to see hundreds of people rush out of thier homes in the manner ants do when their ant hole (or whatever) is broken/stomped upon (laugh at myself at the rubbish analogy but its very apt!) to get to their jobs.
everywhere's busy with some sort of action, students flock to school ( i try my best to fabricate some sort of pretext that could let me skip school but my attempt is very much futile though )
As such, this city is known as a place of ceaseless activity.
only after 3/4s of the day, towards the evening, then do things start taking on a very much needed slower pace. The air becomes cooler and life becomes more leisurely.
BUT LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? to even think of doing anything other than camping at one's study table will probably cause an uproar.
and here's my fav poem that always cheers me up whenever i want to break out of this oh so mundane routine. :DDDD
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round, or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Do you run through each day on the fly, when you ask "How are you?", do you hear the reply?
Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow, and in your haste, not see his sorrow?
When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss half the fun of getting there.
hmm.. the first time i read this poem, at my tender age of 10, i was left feeling a sort of unutterable happiness...

Slow Dance - by David Weatherfold
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round, or listened to rain slapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight, or gazed at the sun fading into the night?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.
Do you run through each day on the fly, when you ask "How are you?", do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed, with the next hundred chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.
Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow, and in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a friendship die, 'cause you never had time to call and say hi?
You better slow down, don't dance so fast, time is short, the music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere, you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day, it's like an unopened gift thrown away.
Life isn't a race, so take it slower, hear the music before your song is over.
hmm.. the first time i read this poem, at my tender age of 10, i was left feeling a sort of unutterable happiness...
oh uhm, could any kind soul get me some chocolates? hehe
